The project

Located in Woerden, the Middenland office and business park is an area that will be transformed into over 2,400 homes over the coming years. Construction on the first 300 or more apartments has already begun. In the middle of the area where these recent developments have begun is the office where the Chamber of Commerce is currently housed. RED-O made the purchase of the office at Watermolenlaan 1 possible and contracted it out to Ter Steege. This resulted in a good collaboration whereby RED-O has taken on the entire development together with Ter Steege Gebiedsontwikkeling (area development). Together with SVP Architectuur en Stedenbouw, we are working on the plan for more than 130 apartments and ground-level homes.

The development is located at the central campus, where a park-like setting with attractive public spaces will set the mood, with a nice mix of mainly apartments and ground-level housing, complemented by appealing spaces that will promote additional interaction between tenants.

RED-O will handle the complete development process and will transfer the plan to Ter Steege Bouw for the realisation.
